Founder of the Barnes Law Firm has been tapped to moderate a panel discussion with Venture Capitalists in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. — As Triangle Entrepreneurship Week got under way on Monday afternoon, Houston Barnes, founder of The Barnes Law Firm, PLLC, (http://www.barneslawnc.com), is prepared to moderate the “Pitch an Investor” event on Thursday morning. The event, which sold out last year, is scheduled to take place at the offices of Intersouth Partners (http://www.intersouth.com) in Durham, and will likely sell out again this year.

This is Barnes’ second consecutive year being tapped by organizers for such a role, which involves leading and taking part in a discussion of Venture Capital Investors, working with entrepreneurs and startups. This is a role that he is accustomed to in his day-to-day duties as an attorney working both with startups, and the groups they raise money from.

“The triangle continues to grow and be recognized as one of the hot spots in the country for Startups.” said Barnes. “Having such a role in Triangle Entrepreneurship Week for second consecutive year is a great honor, and I am excited about the exposure it brings to what we are working on!”
